The Arab Network for Early Childhood (ANECD) has released its annual report for the years 2022-2023, highlighting the network’s achievements over the past two years. The report includes information about its programs, initiatives, conducted research, published findings, and ongoing research projects. The report includes also important milestones that ANECD achieved in its work related to early childhood workforce issues such as:
- Joining the Early Childhood Workforce Initiative (ECWI)
- ANECD’s webinar on early childhood workforce in partnership with ECWI
- Strategic Research Model 2: The working conditions of early childhood educators in nurseries and kindergartens in 7 Arab countries
- The launching of a new study that investigates the training and professional development needs and opportunities for early childhood educators in nurseries and kindergartens.
Additionally, the report provides a comprehensive overview of the “Arab Resource Collective,” the hosting organization, and the evolution of the network’s communication efforts. It also covers partnerships, donors and funding bodies, the advisory council, the ANECD team, and the network’s participation in events.
