We know that in many countries around the world the early childhood workforce experiences poor recognition. In comparison with professionals working to support older children and adults, they receive lower wages, lower qualifications and fewer opportunities for career development or professional development.
Recently, the Key Informant Interviews conducted by the Early Childhood Workforce Initiative in 15 countries, highlighted the working conditions of the early childhood workforce as a major challenge to both recruitment and retention. This webinar will look at these challenges, as well as promising approaches aimed at supporting the workforce.
