A proposal at the House of Representatives calls for a system of compensation and benefits for child development workers and teachers.
Leyte Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, in filing House Bill 2550, cited the need to establish a system of compensation and benefits to public service providers since Republic Act 10410 or the “Early Years Act of 2013” fell short of addressing their needs.
